Nonconformist

At Nonconformist, we are a digital experiences and products agency.

We focus on human-centered design, with a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses the entire value creation process. We combine design, data, growth, and technology to transform businesses, providing end-to-end solutions that directly impact the user experience.

We are looking for a Freelance Service Designer to join us for three months.

⚙️ And specifically, this is what you will do:

  • Design and improve omnichannel experiences with a focus on systemic vision and the interconnections between people, processes and channels (focus on the Agro ecosystem).
  • Establish work processes and collaboration dynamics appropriate to the specific needs of each project, together with internal business teams, IT and other areas (with emphasis on redefining the Agro service).
  • Communicate ideas and concepts verbally and visually, through deliverables such as presentations, user journeys, service blueprints, flows, and value propositions.
  • Conduct qualitative research and fieldwork (face-to-face and remote interviews) to understand the end-to-end experience of producers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Apply critical and analytical thinking along with creative skills to identify systemic causes behind the detected frictions.
  • Working with service blueprints and strategic frameworks (business model canvas, value proposition canvas, among others) to translate insights into concrete service opportunities and product improvements.
  • Design and optimize work processes in conjunction with different areas of the organization, ensuring the alignment of the evolutions of the digital channel with the comprehensive vision of the service.
  • Establish agreements and alignment points with key figures in business and technology areas.
  • Document and communicate processes, workflows, and communication dynamics in a clear and accessible way.
  • Facilitate spaces for co-creation and prioritization with the areas involved through strategic design workshop dynamics (workshops).
  • Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.

💡 For that, we need you to have…

  • At least 3 years of experience in service design or comprehensive experience design, in design studios, consulting or internal areas of companies, participating in high-impact projects (preferably in sectors such as Banking, Finance, Payment Methods or Agriculture).
  • Experience in projects involving the creation or improvement of services or products, working in multidisciplinary teams and meeting established objectives and deadlines.
  • Experience in coordination and collaboration with other disciplines, such as development, business and data.
  • Systemic vision and strategic thinking skills to anticipate and synthesize the needs of users, business and technology and connect the human, the operational and the digital.
  • Experience in qualitative research and fieldwork with users and internal stakeholders (producers, collectors, distributors and internal profiles of the entity).
  • Experience in facilitating interdisciplinary workshops, adapting the dynamics to the objective and profiles of the participants.
  • Proficiency in using tools to map experiences and develop service blueprints and identify critical points in the process (e.g., Miro, Figma, FigJam, Whimsical).
  • Ability to conceptualize ideas into creative and actionable design proposals within the context of the project.
  • Ability to define and communicate value propositions and experience improvements in a compelling manner.
  • Proficient in using tools to create clear and high-impact presentations.

💯 At Nonconformist, we like people who…

  • They are independent and know how to manage their responsibilities and their time.
  • They are demanding of themselves and are constantly in the process of improvement.
  • They are flexible, they accept and embrace change, and they are able to pivot and abandon old ideas.
  • They don’t expect to solve everything on the first try or perfectly, and they are capable of taking risks and facing mistakes.
  • They know how to work with other people, they put their ego aside: big team little me.
  • They create a positive and collaborative work environment where everyone feels included, valued, and accepted.
