Lead Service Designer

We are seeking a Service Designer Lead to join our team and play a key role in the Health Future State Design Team. This role involves facilitating both in-person and virtual workshops, synthesising complex information, and supporting cross-government collaboration to shape the future of health service delivery.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitation: Lead workshops, ensuring active participation and productive dialogue among diverse stakeholders.
• Synthesis: Translate workshop discussions into actionable insights and strategies for improving healthcare delivery.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with government officials, healthcare providers, and patients to gather diverse perspectives.
• Content Development: Create compelling and informative presentations, reports, and consultation materials.

 
Skills and Experience:

• Workshop Facilitation: Proven ability to lead in-person and virtual workshops, including using platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Project Management: Strong organisational skills to coordinate logistics, manage timelines, and ensure follow-up.
• Service Design & Design Thinking: Expertise in applying design thinking methodologies and producing experience design artefacts such as journey maps and blueprints.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience in cross-government or multi-agency collaboration, particularly within the healthcare or public sector.

Desirable Experience:

• Healthcare or Public Sector: Experience in health transformation or public sector workshops is preferred, but not essential.
• Digital Tools: Familiarity with collaborative platforms such as Miro and Mural.
