Lead Service Designer

The Lead Service Designer is responsible for the final design of the Minimum Viable Product platform and to ensure the expectations of both the external business community and internal VPS users are achieved.
This role will be focused on the Public Notices project but will sit within the Digital, Design and Innovation Service Design team. It will lead the Service Design process as well as developing and enhancing collaborative relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Extensive experience as a Service Designer working on digital projects with a strong portfolio that demonstrated excellent creative problem solving.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and growing design talent.
- Demonstrated experience of conducting user research using a variety of methods to inform tangible prototypes to test products, services or policy ideas.
- Demonstrated application of human-centred design methods to identify the problem and design a solutions, ideally in the government context.
- Demonstrated ability to visualise design research insights in findings reports, presentations, user journeys, personas and service blueprints.
Using your advance experience in applying the design process to problem solving, you will work with the Project Manager to deliver a new Digital Product to assist businesses with mandatory digital notices. This role will demand your exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
