Service UX Designer

We are expanding to be at the forefront of an evolving digital landscape, working with clients both big and small, to build the best advice solutions in an ever-growing market.

Based in our Sydney office and reporting to the Head of Product, the Service UX Designer will be responsible for developing Midwinter’s Service Design capability and experience designs for Midwinter’s AdviceOS and digital products.

A key aspect of the role is collaborating with members of the Product, Sales, and Development teams to create new digital propositions for Midwinter clients. This involves coordinating the team to work closely with the Product and Sales as part of a tender, translating a client’s digital vison and goals into first class experiences.

Skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Commercial experience of service / user experience design working on medium to large complex websites and mobile applications. Financial Service and enterprise software experience desirable, but not essential
• Expertise in Human Centred Design, the UX design processes, techniques, and agile methodologies
• Ability to rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes and experiments in relevant software
• Experience in working with agile multi-disciplinary teams that have designed and delivered user experiences across a range of websites and application and other digital platforms.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation to share expertise
• The successful candaidate will have a degree or post-graduate qualification in Interaction Design, Product Design or equivalent training and industry experience.
