Senior Service Designer

What you’ll do
You’ll work in a highly supportive and committed team to provide a range of expert, customer-focused design and user experiences to co-design new DCJ service approaches that puts the needs of families at the centre of everything we do. You’ll do this to break the cycle of inter-generational disadvantage and keep all families safe and strong.
In doing this, you’ll apply a deep understanding of human centred design thinking, bringing together research and interactive design to create innovative experiences supporting high value, family-centric service delivery.
What we’re looking for
Tertiary qualifications and/or industry experience in user experience or related fields.
Appointments are subject to reference checks. Some roles may also require the following checks/ clearances:
- National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
- Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
We’re looking for a person who’s committed to improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and ensuring Aboriginal ways of Knowing, Being and Doing are embedded into the Common Clients Transformation.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, experienced senior service designer, who can quickly acquire an understanding of a complex service system, who’s also a great communicator, facilitator and listener.
