Senior Service Designer

We are looking for a number of service designers with different levels of experience and a scope of strengths. We want to create a team of complementary skills and personalities so we can collaborate, grow and learn from each other. Our focus is on creating a fully formed, dynamic and collaborative team.

• A Creative with an analytical streak or an analytical with a creative bent
• Someone who sees matrix – you understand systems as a whole and connect the dots
• Insight-ologist – you know how to research people, understand their behaviours and context, and turn these into deep, actionable insights
• A structured explorer – deeply curious and not afraid to jump into the dark because they are able to plan and work their way through the ambiguity
• A deft dancer who thinks on their feet – responsive and agile to changes in circumstances
• A conscientious collaborator – you play well with others, and share a build from their ideas
• A prolific pictorialist – you think in visions, you bring things to life
• Edgy experimenter – someone who is constantly looking to push the boundaries, try new approaches and always thinks on how things could be more awesome

Ideally we are looking for Service Designers from a range of backgrounds who have a few projects under their belt.

• Senior Service Designers should be able to come up with robust design approaches to get the outcomes needed.
• Junior Service Designers should be able to execute against these plans (and not be afraid to challenge them if it might not work out).
• Our Service Design Leads are gun designers who run our projects, and should have 7 plus years experience with the know-how to manage complex environments and stakeholders. That said, they should also be willing to get their hands dirty and engage with design tools.
