Senior Service Designer

Join our innovative and collaborative team and deliver human-centred solutions across the entire Macquarie Group. We are looking for an experienced Senior Service Designer who is passionate about human centred design and delivering high quality solutions that solve user and client pain points.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading initiatives to understanding current pain points and inefficiencies of products and services for a wide range of divisions throughout the organisation and working with clients to develop solutions to these.

In order to deliver quality solutions for our users you will be engaging end-users, facilitating workshops and ideations, developing prototypes, conducting user testing and crafting journey maps with personas that bring to life the intended experience for stakeholders.

In addition to performing your role as a dedicated service designer, you will also be managing a small team of enthusiastic service designers.

Ideally you will be:

• A service designer that strives for excellence and is a passionate advocate for our users
• A passionate mentor and coach of junior talent
• A problem solver who loves big challenges and tackles them in a collaborative way
• Well versed in the end-to-end human centred design process; experience that demonstrates this would be advantageous
• Confidence to host and facilitate workshops to develop key artefacts
• A team-player that is comfortable collaborating with UX/UI designers, developers, product owners, and wider project stakeholders
• A strong communicator who is confident dealing with stakeholders, sharing a vision and managing expectations
• A thought leader that is willing to empower others with the skills and frameworks of service design.
