Service Designer

The Service Designer will play a leading role in shaping digital service innovation in youth mental health. This role is focused on designing best in class digital mental health care that blends with face-to-face services, and creating outstanding early user experiences for service leaders, clinicians and young people.

Reporting to the Product Lead, Orygen Digital you will:

• Apply your human centered design practice and systems thinking talent to complex challenges in mental health service delivery.
• Drive your own discovery process, working closely with leadership, strategic partners, and subject-matter experts.
• Be an active member of a close design team committed to inclusive ethical design.

What you’ll need

You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:

• Extensive experience working collaboratively to crack digital and non-digital design challenges.
• A flair for impactful design research and workshop facilitation.
• An ability to communicate insights and strategy through compelling visual storytelling and verbal presentation.
• Experience designing for healthcare, education, or other social impact strongly desired.
