Service Designer

About the position:

Exciting times at Whispir as we set out to bring our first Service Designer into the Product Design and Research team. We are looking for a Service Designer who is keen to work in a SaaS environment to help us explore, map and visualise our product ecosystem and outline key opportunities for us and our customers. Empathy, collaboration and building rapport are your strengths and you are a skilled communicator.

As a Service Designer you will be comfortable:

• Leading the Service Design process and choosing the right method(s)
• Bringing together product, the business and technology to help shape the future of our organisation
• Simplifying complex problems by having a holistic view of the ecosystem
• Fostering relationships with internal stakeholders to understand internal teams and processes that we use to engage and support our customers
• Facilitating qualitative research to understand our customers’ needs, pain points and opportunities to innovate
• Translating research into actionable results and outcomes
• Understanding and mapping key user and customer journeys and producing key artefacts
• Communicating your findings and recommendations to the product team and the wider business
• Engaging with key stakeholders in leading the associated change management

Key responsibilities:

As Service Designer you will drive the following activities:

• Defining the Service Design approach
• Qualitative research
• Stakeholder interviews and workshop facilitation
• Creating journeys, blueprints and other key assets that communicate your work
• Working closely with our Product Managers, cross functional teams and internal teams

Expected outcomes:

• Communication of key opportunities for our organisation and our customers.
• Regular communication with our customers and end users.
• Prototypes that outline experience improvements.
