The position of Service Designer forms a part of the Working for Victoria Branch within the Inclusion Group.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Designer to be part of the Data and Digital team at Working for Victoria. You will enjoy leading in a challenging but rewarding project that involves engaging with stakeholders from all levels of the Department in designing and delivering our end user digital and data products and services that will assist the WfV team deliver the intended outcomes of the fund. The successful applicant will ensure that Working for Victoria digital and data products and services are user centred, effective and delivered to the highest possible standard in accordance with defined design principles.
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Experience and Service Design, Working for Victoria the key accountabilities of the role include:
- Collaborate with multiple teams to define key aspects of the user experience, it’s evolution across a multi-channel digital ecosystem, and how it reconciles business and user needs.
- Assess existing digital processes and assets for usefulness, usability, content, branding and accessibility.
- The ability to facilitate a variety of mixed methods-based design/user testing sessions. E.g. moderated testing, interviewing or remote tasked based testing. As well as behavioural in-context and empathy driven research;
- Collaborate within the team to help define and scope potential problems or opportunities, establishing goals that ensure there is understanding on the right problems to focus on
- Lead design projects end to end. Starting from the discovery phase through to working with a multidisciplinary delivery team to bring features to life.
