In the role of Advisor (UX / UI Service Designer) you will assist with UX research and UI development. UX research will include capturing insights through existing databusiness analytics; customer research and design activities such as contextual inquiry/observational research, customer journey mapping, persona and scenario development, and service blueprinting. UI design will include utilising an existing design system to update wireframes and clickable prototypes to reflect customer and business insights and requirements; design and testing to inform decision making during the development and continuous improvement of the Digital Licence app and other related digital products and services across TMR.

Accountabilities include:

• Support the Manager (Customer Experience) to leverage best practice CX / UI design tools to create engaging, inclusive, accessible, and measurable digital experiences for Digital Licence App customers.

• Assist with facilitating customer and stakeholder workshops and co-design sessions, customer research, interviews, and customer testing to capture qualitative and quantitative insight.

• Analyse customer research from primary and secondary sources to produce accurate and validated reports, journey maps, personas, product development plans, and synergised recommendations.

• Employ user-centred design techniques to develop process maps, wireframes, prototypes (high and low fidelity), and digital copy based on user research and insights to support the user experience and business outcomes.

• Use existing design standards, systems, components, and features to prototype new digital functionality.

• Work within a cross functional team to contribute to the agile delivery of digital products from concept development through to successful delivery and implementation, including working with product managers, business analysts, developers, and testers to plan sprints and develop requirements and user stories based on user needs.

• Maintain project documentation, project boards, reporting systems and contribute to project team meetings.

• Undertake the role in accordance with the requirements of s26(1) of the Public Service Act 2008 and at all times ensure that the principles as found in the Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service are upheld in the carrying out of all duties.

• Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.
