Service Designer

Do you want to leave your mark on the development of digital solutions for the customers of our different brands? As a service designer at Colruyt Group, that is exactly what you do. You determine the customer journey of our customers and you work out the product definitions of our (digital) services.

Your duties as a service designer:

• You transform existing services, channels or touchpoints, and develop new ones. Always based on real user needs, in line with strategic business objectives and technical feasibility.
• You put the needs of our customers first and involve the customer as much as possible throughout the different iterations of design.
• You connect different levels in the organization (strategic, tactical, operational) to come up with new solutions, develop prototypes and validate them based on user tests.
• You inspire and motivate stakeholders to innovate and change. You facilitate workshops, design sprints and research.

You work in Halle and can work from home 2 days a week or in one of our regional offices.

Profile:

• Technical skills – With your knowledge of Adobe XD, Photoshop, Miro and Figma you work out customer journeys, digital mock-ups and workshops.
• Experience and education – You have a background in one of these domains: service design, product development, industrial design, product design, media informatics, user research, UX/UI, psychology or anthropology. In addition, you have 3 to 5 years of experience in service designer, UX designer or another similar role.
• Strong communication skills – You work closely with UX designers, product developers, marketers, data scientists and business architects. You are therefore someone who easily makes contact.
• Problem solver – Finding solutions is your thing, even in an environment where insights and circumstances are constantly changing. The more challenging, the better!
