Service Designer

We are looking for a value-driven service designer!

You apply design thinking, service design and foresight to tackle the strategic challenges of governments, companies and civil society.

You know how to find the perfect balance between added value for society, people and technology.

You facilitate co-creation processes with various stakeholders, both online and offline, to generate innovative solutions, develop them and convert them into prototypes, service blueprints and clear reports.

You conduct design research (interviews, customer journeys, personas, service blueprints,…) and facilitate training courses, foresight studies and design sprints.

Role

Als business & service designer:

• You inspire our customers about trends, new technologies, business models and best practices through web research, trend analysis and foresight.
• By means of co-creation you will optimally channel and shape the knowledge, energy and ideas.
• Guiding the creative process of empathizing, defining problems, generating ideas, prototyping, testing and validating solutions.
• Building business cases and guiding PoCs and pilot projects.
• Ensuring that our customers can get started with design thinking themselves, both online and offline.
• Creating a company-wide culture of innovation and learning by connecting employees, departments and external stakeholders.
• Building innovation ecosystems of customers, suppliers, partners, academia, research centers and start-ups.

Profile

• You have at least a master’s and/or master-after-master’s degree in innovation, entrepreneurship, business management and/or design sciences.
• You have several years of experience as a service designer and/or innovation consultant.
• Creativity, strategic insight, leadership, empathy, collaboration and an eye for detail.
• You are strong in developing good contacts with companies, research centers, government, civil society…. in order to continuously expand your knowledge and network.
• You are familiar with online co-creation tools (Mural, Miro, …)
• You are familiar with graphic tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.
• You have a natural interest in societal, economic & social themes.
• You are a smooth communicator. A good knowledge of English is required. Knowledge of French is an absolute plus.
• You have a sharp pen and like to write proposals, both in Dutch and English, French is an advantage.
• You are a team player, but you can also work independently.
