As a Service Designer you will bring design, strategy, product, technology, and creativity skills to help the business solve problems, create transformative customer experiences and deliver business ambitions.

We’ll ask you to be accountable for service design deliverables including Discovery Sessions and Service Blueprints for initiatives you are working on whilst supporting the product owner to deliver the right thing at the right time. You’ll work across the enterprise as well as supporting the Aegon UK Change Portfolio.

You’ll be working in a complex environment and will have to flex between macro themes and detailed insights to ensure that Aegon build valuable journeys to its customer, employers and advisers.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Background in design thinking, human-centred design, service design methodologies, including inclusive and accessible design approaches.
  • Ability to understand client needs, pain points, and behaviours to inform and reflect on the design process.
  • Collaborative and workshop planning and facilitation skills
  • The ability to simplify complex information and lead creative and outcome-based design activity
  • Experience working in partnership with project teams, product owners and service owners designing exceptional customer experiences and great customer outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Qualitative analysis (market research) and quantitative analysis (data analytics) skills
  • Experience in design and modelling Tools (for example Figma, Miro, SNOW)
