Service Designer

As a Service Designer, you will have the following key accontabilities:

Lead analysis of existing services and products, to understand opportunities and identify gaps

Support Product Managers and Delivery Leads to review, prioritise and communicate pipeline of propositions and product roadmap

Work with subject matter experts, colleagues and external partners to understand desirability, viability and feasibility of proposed solutions
-
Identify and implement new processes to translate into enterprise tools and effectively communicate to key stakeholders, promoting human(client)-centred product design
-
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design solutions and propositions in response to internal users or data insights
-
Develop communications and updates on progress, processes and customer insights to promote your own work that of the wider team

Support the UX harmonisation across the Data Platform Domains
Key activities:

Work with designers and operations to evaluate existing process
-
Design and implement activities to visualise the impact of the existing products on supporting activities (eg. training, hiring, etc)
-
Translate these into actionable product opportunities for exploration and take through process into production (if appropriate)

Understand and articulate clearly how services need to change from a user centred, tech, and business perspective
-
Review existing journeys both on global and local operations teams
-
Support Delivery leads and Product managers to define key metrics and measurements for organisations to evaluate their impact, supporting them to use this data to iterate what they deliver

Design and document insights and processes. Work with stakeholders to embed and deliver on these processes

Support the growth and visibility of the Design organisation within GfK
Now that you know what a Service Designer does, what skills, qualifications and experience do you need?
-
3+ year experience in UX design, UX research or Digital product design
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly articulate concepts, ideas and requirements so they are understood by Technical & Non-Technical teams
-
Advanced presentation and facilitation skills, able to present ideas/concepts to stakeholders with clarity and confidence and obtain high quality outputs from collaborative tasks
-
Strong persuasion and relationship building skills to influence others without authority and encourage collaboration between stakeholders
-
Capable of resolving challenges independently, escalating only when appropriate
-
A team player, able to work collaboratively with other members of the team and autonomously when required
-
Excellent self-organisation and ability to plan own work in line with the broader team plans and priorities
