Service Designer

Meilleur Monde is looking for someone who has professional experience in service design. Have you already developed a design approach to lead a project from start to finish? Managed projects? Make presentations to clients? Designed an interview guide and conducted interviews with users? Analyzed qualitative data and surfaced design opportunities? Map a service or experience? Animated co-design workshops? Wrote reports for clients? We want to know you!

Responsibilities

• Project management: setting up service offers, customer relationship management, project team management, etc.
• Field research: preparation of interview guides, conducting semi-structured interviews, shadowing, observation of uses, discussion groups, etc.
• Analysis and synthesis of data (alone and in a team): thematic organization, identification of salient facts, drafting of conclusions, etc.
• Co-design workshops: development of workshop programs, production of materials, facilitation of workshops, formatting of data collection, etc.
• Ideation of concepts: imagine creative solutions, quick sketch of concepts, illustration of projects, diagramming of systems or services, etc.
• Service design: creation of usage scenarios, mapping of user paths or service blueprints, etc.
• Writing: writing reports, articles for the general public or white papers, etc.
• Support for the internal tasks of the cooperative

Duration

• Entry into office no later than January 3, 2024
• Contract ends July 5, 2024, with possibility of renewal

Salary

• Salaries are determined by our salary scale
• The hourly wage varies between $30-35/h depending on the ability to take on tasks and responsibilities

Place and working hours

• Full time: 28 – 35 hours / work week
• Minimum 2 days / week of work in person at the office, at 4030 Saint-Ambroise, #251, St-Henri (Saint-Henri or Lionel Groulx station)
