Senior Service Designer

Bridgeable is hiring a Senior Service Designer who is passionate and motivated by working on client projects spanning various industries such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, telecommunications and retail. We are looking for a strategic individual with experience practicing human-centred design on a multidisciplinary team. The Sr. Service Designer will collaborate with a team to uncover insights, translate these into innovation and service design possibilities, and implement them within client organizations. The successful candidate will not have people management responsibility but will coach and mentor junior Designers on the team.
Your area of expertise may be in a specific discipline, but your core competency is thinking strategically, solving problems creatively, and working collaboratively. You will deliver client projects that understand user needs, compelling design experiences, and support organizations to implement at scale. You will bring a positive, fearless attitude to your work, with a drive to be relentlessly useful and a thirst for continuous learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on creating more human-centred experiences across various service touchpoints
- Build a deep understanding of our client’s business model and internal dynamics to ensure that the human-centered solutions we recommend are effective at solving business needs
- Lead or participate in collaborative working sessions both internally and externally with clients
- Synthesize data from research (ranging from interviews, desk research, co-creation workshops) to identify key insights and translate them into opportunity areas
- Lead or participate in designing learning labs or co-creation workshops
- Facilitate workshops with a multidisciplinary team.
- Design low fidelity prototypes and evolve them through rapid iterations through co-creation sessions into high-fidelity outputs
- Effectively use storytelling to communicate user insights, opportunity areas, and concept designs to a variety of audiences.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to prepare design content and specification documents that help extend design both with Bridgeable and the client to build an understanding of the solutions as intended.
- Mentor junior team members during the execution of client projects
- Support the implementation of our solutions within client teams/organizations
- Interact directly with end-users, clients, and other stakeholders
- Explore trends and best practices and summarize the potential applications in client work
- Support managers’ business development efforts by informing the preparation of thoughtful proposals and project approach in response to our client’s needs, as required

Requirements
You have:
- An undergraduate degree or higher in Design or related field.
- 3-5 years of work experience in design execution, qualitative research, or design consulting
- The ability to work independently on and take ownership over small projects or key work streams within large projects
- Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to consistently prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills that demonstrate tact and diplomacy
- Experience with human-centred design and service design
- Experience with various design software, including, but not limited to: Adobe Design Suite, Sketch, InVision)
