Service Designer

This position requires on-site work at our office in Helsinki.

Your tasks include:

• Conducting user research and analysis to uncover service design opportunities.
• Assisting in shaping the service, experiences, business strategy, branding of each hotel together with the design team and international partners.
• Utilizing design thinking skills in different aspects of design, from creating and refine service blueprints, customer journeys, and user personas.
• Conceptualizing and designing tangible solutions for BRG through graphic and written content via MIRO.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative service design solutions.

We require you to have:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as Service Designer, UX designer, design research, business design, facilitator or similar.
• Master’s degree in design related field
• Excellent knowledge and proficiency in making abstract tangible. Ability to embrace uncertainty and build clarity from complexity.
• Experience in Design Research, using creative, analytical and critical thinking.
• Ability and willingness to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Savvy about design, graphic knowledge, business key concepts.
• Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, MIRO, Figma).
• You are adaptive and don’t shy away from complex challenges and the ability to take responsibility and to lead your own work.
• Full working proficiency in English written and spoken, No Finnish required.

We consider as an asset:

• Experience working on high-end residential / hospitality projects
• Background and previous working experience in Interior Architecture and Architecture
