Senior Service Designer

We are now looking for an experienced service designer to strengthen Oulu’s growing design team. You will be able to build a design community and culture in Oulu, as well as develop the design offering, the design sales design and the content of the offers. We hope you talk smoothly about your business, understand the processes and laws of digital business, and be able to create value for your customers and end users by leveraging design thinking to develop new service and business concepts. Previous experience in service, business and / or customer experience design will support you in the task.

You help our customers improve their digital services and design new product and service concepts in close collaboration with our customers and various stakeholders. You help our customers outline core issues, create competitive value propositions, and prototype new business models and concepts. In addition, your work includes market research and trend analysis.

You can get off to a good start if you have:

• Experience and understanding of developing digital services in an agile environment

• Fluent management of design thinking and service design methods and practical experience in their application.

• Customer and business mindset.

• Strong communication and interaction skills as well as the ability to facilitate workshops with different stakeholders.

• Fluent oral and written proficiency in Finnish and English.

There is a plus if you also have:

• Your expertise covers innovation, customer experience, and data utilization as part of service development.

• Ability and interest to support project sales and customer relationship management.
• Educational background supporting the task.
