Service Designer

Who are we looking for? Possibly just you! We build digital services for our customers and develop the core systems that run their business. You help ensure that the services truly serve end users and that the processes are efficient other than on paper. Sometimes your most important contribution is to help us and the customer better understand what the problem really is and how to address it most effectively.

We build digital services for our customers and develop the core systems that run their business. You help ensure that the services truly serve end users and that the processes are efficient other than on paper. Sometimes your most important contribution is to help us and the customer better understand what the problem really is and how to address it most effectively. 

Your work largely consists of research, crystallization of customer and business needs, conducting workshops, and developing solutions and operating models. As a service designer, it is commonplace for you to discuss the needs of both the customer’s business and the end users. In some projects, your role emphasizes the facilitation of the left side of the double diamond, and in some, your contribution is more holistic. 

As a dream candidate, you have experience in process description and methods of business design and agile portfolio management. Central to many of your projects is the further development of existing processes from the user’s perspective, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by technology. However, the most important thing is not the number of years you work, but the desire to constantly develop your own and your work community’s way of working together.

• A portfolio that already has a few larger entities 
• Understanding the business 
• Determination and self-direction 
• Experience in describing development targets in large-scale IT projects is a big plus
• In addition to Finnish, fluent English.
