Service Designer

We are looking for a service designer to join our multidisciplinary team. If you have the ability to add value to customers in your field with your work, take things with a hands-on attitude and feel our mission to create sustainable growth for our customers with exceptionally good services and a customer experience, you may well be the person we are looking for.

At Sixth, we do not believe in generic service development , but focus on both the needs of the end user and our customer’s brand. We help you discover new growth opportunities by understanding today’s and future behaviors.

As a service  designer, you sometimes work as part of a larger entity – for example, in the multi – channel projects of the  Hive Code School  and  Easton Shopping Center , our service designers created the new Sixth with business designers, graphic designers, interior designers and digital designers. At times, your focus is on creating truly functional and memorable service concepts, service models, or service paths, rather than leaving them to the purely theoretical level. Our customer base is made up of diverse players in various industries and the public sector.

Our expertise has also been recognized. In the field of service design, our work has been awarded e.g. With the Fennia Award, at the Tops of the Year, and our work has also been ranked among the 12 best service design projects in the world. More inspiring projects are coming and we need to strengthen our team.

The person we are looking for is a service designer with:

• work experience as a service designer for at least 3 years
• knowledge of service design methodology and experience in applying it in practice
• experience in utilizing customer understanding in design
• the ability to facilitate workshops in an inspiring and participatory manner
• fluent knowledge of Finnish and English

In addition, we hope you have experience in at least one of the following areas:

• independent customer responsibility and project management
• visualization of service models, processes and outputs
• service design in the digital operating environment
