Service Designer/UX Designer

As a Service Designer / UX Designer (f/m/d), you are part of our creative team, working with colleagues from different areas and contributing to a cooperative working atmosphere in which we have fun, challenge ourselves and come up with new ideas for banking products develop.

What you can do for us

• You design the user experience of Commerzbank applications from the initial idea of new features to detailed wireframes.
• You develop value propositions and design user journeys for different customer segments.
• You translate concepts into testable prototypes with various levels of detail in order to validate them with users.
• You work in a team between Research & Data, Product Design, Project Management and Development and represent your results to various stakeholders.
• Ideally, you would like to have an active role in workshops and presentations and thereby inspire both the business side and the NEUGELB designers.

What you should bring to the table

• You have a relevant degree and have initial experience (3 – 5 years) in the conception and design of digital products and services, ideally with a focus on banking and/or finance.
• Affinity and enthusiasm for technology, innovation and digital trends.
• You think analytically and strategically, are always curious and creative in finding solutions and understand design as a holistic discipline.
• You have strong interpersonal communication skills, enjoy working with others and can easily communicate with your colleagues and stakeholders in English and German.
• Strong customer orientation as well as interest and motivation to delve intensively into the subject area of the product or project topic.
• Ability and passion to simply stage complex topics and products that require explanation.
• Initial experience in moderating workshops and using workshop formats (e.g. design sprint).
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, visual), empathy and ability to change perspectives.
