UX Researcher / Service Designer (m/f/d)

Your tasks 

  • You are a core team member of Lab X and as such responsible for identification and implementation of UX processes, workflows, templates, management systems and the governance structure for user-centricity
  • Your main tasks are to carry our User Research, support ideation and prototyping processes, help to develop concepts, service and interface designs, and to validate desirability and business viability of our solutions
  • Project and stakeholder management and workshop facilitation are other areas work that you are supporting
  • As a central figure within our expanding community of UX experts at Sennheiser, you will be actively involved in shaping the structure of our UX operations and advancing UX proficiency at the organizational level. This might include contributing to the implementation of research operations and repositories

Your profile 

  • You have a degree, e.g. in work & organizational psychology, media informatics or user experience design or a comparable education
  • You have some professional experience as a user experience researcher or service designer in a consulting firm, an agency, a venture builder, a start-up or an innovation unit. Experience in the audio industry is a plus
  • You have very good knowledge in qualitative (contextual interviews, usability testing, service safaris, etc.) and quantitative user research (surveys, AB testing, etc.)
  • You are at home in Design Thinking, live in Google Sprints and can also convince others of this with your composure. Experience with workshop facilitation and agile setups is a plus
  • You are interested in human behavior – users are the linchpin of your professional thinking
  • You can translate your findings from User Research into concepts for services, products and experiences and testable prototypes (analog or digital) and have basic knowledge in user interface design
  • You have excellent written and verbal English skills (German also a plus) and feel comfortable working in an international company
  • You are emphatic, curious and want to continuously develop yourself.
