Service Designer (f/m/d)

As Service Designer at Avi Medical you will be designing the end-to-end journey of a service. You will be collaborating closely with our cross-functional product teams, the marketing and operation team, to develop service experiences that seamlessly weave together Avi’s digital touchpoints with the human-to-human experience. Your work ensures that a patient or medical staff completes their goal in the most desirable and hassle-free way.
Your Responsibilities
- Champion Service Design and human-centred design at Avi Medical
- Work with key stakeholders within Avi Medical to design and implement new services, and improve existing ones for patients and medical staff
- Conduct user research and clearly articulate the problem areas to ensure proposed solutions focus on the most pressing underlying issues
- Translate and apply the Avi Brand to the end-to-end service experiences and signature moments along the user journey, including human touchpoint, experiences in the practice, as well as Avi’s digital products
- Design the Service Blueprint and prepare it to be shared with and handed over to Avi Medical’s operations team and other key stakeholders
- Work with the Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to plan training, onboarding, and communication of services to their users
- Plan (including setting of success metrics) and assist to run service prototypes in select practices
Required Skills and Experience
- Degree in Service Design, User Experience Design, Design Research, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4+ years experience in optimizing existing services, as well as designing net new concepts or services that optimally reinvent a typical way of doing something
- Experience working within a consumer insights-led, iterative, test-and-learn design process
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal relations, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Portfolio of compelling design artefacts, including service journeys, blueprints and wireframes
- A meticulous, growth-minded critical thinker open to sharing work early and often
- Ability to work within a self-directed culture and navigate ambiguity
- Experience working in healthcare is a plus
