Service Designer

Join us at Cinco as a Service Designer, where you’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to create innovative, user-centered service solutions. This position is based in Guatemala with flexible on-site and remote work options.

Responsibilities:

User Research:

• Conduct interviews, workshops and desk and field research, to gather insights and understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.

Information Processing and Mapping:

• Map and organize information from all areas of a business. Tasks include profiling clients, identifying key audiences, creating service blueprints, journey maps, and touchpoint analyses to visualize and improve service interactions.

Problem Identification:

• Identify problems and opportunities within services, making data-driven reports and recommendations for improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with teammates from various areas of expertise, including psychologists, architects, process engineers, etc, to create integrated service solutions. Build strong relationships with clients to collaboratively develop effective solutions. Design and facilitate co-design sessions.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in service design, continually seeking ways to innovate and enhance service offerings.

Qualifications:

– Degree in Service Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, or a related field

– Experience in service design, experience design, or a similar role

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

– Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar

– Familiarity with service design methodologies and tools, including service blueprints, journey mapping, and co-design techniques

– Experience conducting user research and gathering insights

– Highly self-sufficient, curious, and driven to deliver high-quality results
