Senior UX/Service Designer

Job Description

The role of the User Experience Designer in Bludigit and the Italgas Group is evolving. From the design of user-centered digital products and services, we are increasingly called upon to tackle broader projects and issues. The birth of the Experience Design BU within the Digital Factory is proof of this.
In this very stimulating and rapidly growing context, we are looking for a curious and proactive resource to be included as a Senior User Experience Designer.

You will be responsible for:
– supporting cross-functional teams in the design of user-centered solutions, using Design Thinking and Agile methodology;
– lead user research activities to carry out analyses, define personas, map user journeys and service blueprints;
– design and draw user flows, wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes;
– actively collaborate with Agile team members to ensure the feasibility of design solutions translated into user stories and their accurate implementation;
– conduct tests to validate and iteratively improve the solutions;
– design, organize and facilitate co-design workshops;
– contribute to the application and evolution of the Design System;
– spread the value of design within the company and within the group;
– contribute to the growth of junior/middle UX figures;
– help select, coordinate and supervise external UX figures;
– collaborate with the UX team to grow and develop the Experience Design business unit.

Presence at the Milan office is required three days a week.

Technical skills

– degree (or have a similar qualification) in User Experience Design, Service Design, Interaction Design or related field;
– Work experience in the UX field of at least 5 years;
– knowledge of the basics of Visual Design;
– in-depth knowledge of virtual collaboration tools (Miro);
– ability to use prototyping and wireframing tools (Sketch, Figma, InVision);
– Fluency in English.

The following will be considered a plus:
– knowledge of accessibility;
– knowledge in UX writing;
– knowledge of Business Design;
– ability to use video making tools (After Effects, Premiere or similar);
– knowledge of HTML and CSS.
