Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

1. Responsible for E2E design for Service Orchestration and NFV MANO covering network design, planning, integration, north and south bound interfaces.

2. Technical Lead for NFVO design, implementation, dimensioning and resource management for integration to Core Cloud.

3. Use case study, design and development to support commercial requirement, with security compliance.

4. Technical from Core Network to support tender exercise from core NFVO perspective inclusive of E2E orchestration, and subsequently relevant Proof of Concept of new architectural solution and features complying to industrial standard, and business/ technical requirements.

5. Evaluate, assess, verify new solution/ features and provide recommendation as way of forward.

6. Leading the development of workflow automation for NFV and SDN via MANO.

7. Translate business requirements into technical requirements covering traffic forecast, network dimensioning, and subsequently budget requirement, where the execution/ spending is to be closely monitored in accordance to departmental approved AOP.

8. Continuous optimising NFVO platform with software upgrade, dimensioning, resource allocation, automation to ensure its optimum performance.

9. Develop and secure approvals for business case, technical strategy, and sourcing strategy.

10. Liaison with other departments, i.e. Subject Matter Experts in other areas, Business Units, Sourcing, Contract/ Vendor performance  management as rep from telco cloud team from planning, engineering, and execution perspective.
