Service Designer

Norwegian Digitalisation Agency (Digdir)

Analyze user needs and societal challenges across sectors, and translate insights into developing holistic concepts that strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration.
Lead and facilitate design processes together with actors across disciplines and management levels, from planning and workshops to collaboration with decision-makers and interdisciplinary teams.
Visualize connections and value chains, and contribute with strategic service design to the development of national instruments and coordination structures.
Incorporate methodology for insight- and data-driven concept development with a focus on societal value.
Ensure that the team understands and contributes to the insight work, and help develop design expertise in the organization.

You must have

Master’s degree in service design, UX design, product design, interaction design or equivalent. Relevant experience may compensate for parts of the education requirement.
Minimum 5 years of experience in service design or related design disciplines.
Strong interpersonal skills, and good oral, written and visual communication skills in both Norwegian and English.

You should have

Broad experience from insight methodology, service design and user involvement.
Experience in connecting insight to strategy and contributing to priorities in complex initiatives.
Ability to drive change across needs, stakeholders and sectors.
Good professional leadership skills, and experience in establishing processes that work for interdisciplinary teams.
Experience from the public sector and understanding of administrative structures.
Experience with complex issues involving multiple sectors and levels of government.
