 Senior Service Designer

Ruter As

Ruter As

We are now looking for a committed senior service designer who wants to become part of our team in Customer Experience and Design. You will have a leading and advisory role, and work closely with end users and other stakeholders to translate insights into concrete services and improvements that provide better everyday experiences for our travelers.

You will be part of a team of knowledgeable designers who work holistically with the customer experience – a committed group that supports and spars with each other across issues. We are committed to interdisciplinary collaboration and emphasize building good relationships and inspiring other professional environments, so that more people gain a deeper understanding of customer needs and motivations. Design methodology and tools for mapping the user experience are a natural part of our everyday lives. This can include, for example, working with customer journeys, gigamapping, workshops, interviews and other co-creation processes.

You will work across professional environments in Ruter to ensure good user experiences – both today and in the future. We value the ability to think holistically and see needs from different perspectives, and are looking for you who are interested in services that consist of both physical and digital touchpoints. We also collaborate closely with designers from the technology company Tet, who develop and deliver Ruter’s digital surfaces. While the UX environment at Tet develops the digital interfaces, your role will be to contribute to a holistic service experience across channels and touchpoints.

We are looking for a colleague who will help develop the professional environment further in a curious and experimental environment. It should be safe to share thoughts, learn from each other, discuss and explore good solutions together. We also think that coming to work should be fun! That’s why it’s important for us to have a generous and good professional environment, where laughter is allowed and the ceiling is high. The department currently consists of ten designers with backgrounds in product design, service design and visual design, and we are growing.
