Senior Service Designer

Who are we looking for?

We’re searching for Service Designers with a few years of experience. You have probably failed a couple of times, learnt from your mistakes, and can bring valuable learnings. In addition, we believe that you:

• Have a solid service design methodology foundation

• Can take on both strategic as well as hands-on responsibilities

• Have the know-how and will to lead design projects in client-facing situations

• Have a genuine passion for co-creative processes and experience in cross-functional teams

• Enjoy working with complex design and innovation challenges

• Have experience planning and facilitating workshops and design processes

• Understand the connection between user needs and business needs

• Enjoy sharing your knowledge with others and supportingmore junior colleagues

• Have a minimum of five years of work experience

• Fluency in a Scandinavian language is a plus

What will you be doing?

As a Service Designer in EGGS, you will work with meaningful projects through a design-driven innovation approach. Depending on your strengths and interests, you may take on different roles in projects. Some examples of what you might be doing are:

• Planning, selling, leading, and working on design-driven innovation projects. Typically together with other designers, developers and in collaboration with clients

• Contributing with your competence to develop and support more junior colleagues

• Facilitating processes with colleagues, clients, and users to ensure that the solutions are co-created and firmly anchored

• Designing, prototyping and testing new service concepts and solutions

• Leading projects through all phases – from start, development, and implementation

• Communicating insights and results through visually strong deliveries. For example, via strategic visions, user insight, holistic user journeys, or concrete concepts and solutions

• Gathering insights from users and clients – both with qualitative and quantitative methods

• Being responsible for building and developing client relationships

• Project management to ensure that projects have successful deliveries
