Senior Service Designer

Tasks
- Facilitate and take the lead in all activities in a design process: gain insight, define problems, develop ideas and prototypes, and conduct testing
- Further develop service design as competence and methodology, including being a driving force in further developing the department’s templates and toolbox
- Maintain and develop your own competence within the position’s areas of responsibility, share your top competence with others.
- Be a leader in the work of creating interest and understanding for the use of service design, and methods for innovation and service development in the organization and the sector
- Change management towards user orientation and efficient design processes in the Norwegian Directorate of Health
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are passionate about creating good health services, are professionally skilled and who practice openness and good cooperation.
You must have:
- education at master’s level in design, with specialization in service design or other relevant field. Particularly long and relevant experience can replace parts of the education requirement.
- a minimum of five years’ experience with relevant tasks
- needs and user orientation, with a good ability to obtain, analyze and present insights, ideas and concepts
- good knowledge and understanding of design-driven methodology for innovation and improvement and good ability to convey this
- ability to use service design in interdisciplinary teams and adapt to the situation and framework conditions in a good way
- documented experience in facilitating user-centered processes, carrying out insight work and working with concept development
- experience working in agile agile teams
- a strong visualization ability
- good written and oral formulation and communication skills in Norwegian
