Service Design

• Facilitate all activities in a design process: gain insight, define problem, develop ideas and prototypes, and conduct testing
• Further develop service design as competence and methodology, including helping to further develop the department’s templates and toolbox
• Maintain and increase your own competence within the position’s areas of responsibility
• Create interest and understanding for the use of service design, and methods for innovation and service development in the organization and the sector
• Contribute to user orientation and efficient processes in the Norwegian Directorate of Health

We are looking for you who are professionally skilled and who practice openness and cooperation.

You must have:

• education minimum at master’s level in design, with specialization in service design or other relevant field
• a minimum of three years’ experience with relevant tasks.
• needs and user orientation, with the ability to obtain, analyze and present insights, ideas and concepts
• good knowledge of and understanding of innovation methodology and improvement methodology
• ability to use service design in interdisciplinary teams and adapt to the situation and those to any applicable framework conditions
• good written and oral formulation and communication skills in Norwegian

We also want you to have:

• good knowledge and understanding of system-oriented design
• strong visualization ability
• documented experience in facilitating user-centered processes, carrying out insight work and working with concept development
• experience working in agile agile teams

• sociable, good at collaborating with different people, and generous when it comes to sharing your own knowledge and experience
