Senior Service Designer

The Senior Service Designer will lead the development of a newly formed service design team by supporting the existing roles (service designer and co-design manager) and recruiting to two new roles (service designer and junior service designer). This presents a great opportunity to really shape how the team functions and drive the vision for service design at The Children’s Society. They will bring energy, ambition and experience to our commitments to service design that is inclusive, puts young people at its centre and contributes to change at a systemic level. They will create an environment in which other service designers can thrive, work equitably and build strong relationships with each other and across the rest of the organisation. They will have the chance to make lots of practical contributions to our services, as well as build new ways of working with and for young people

About You

• Working as a service designer, product designer or user experience designer
• Working with and for children and young people

• Building shared design-thinking and youth-led practice across organisations
