UX Service Designer

Optomi, in partnership with a global leader in new payment technologies, is seeking an experienced product focused UX Service Designer for their FULLY REMOTE opportunity!

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate!

• Develop scenarios and service blueprints that describe end-to-end customer experiences, touch-points and back-end service delivery systems that embody brand and values.
• Plan and lead co-creation activities with a variety of team members and internal partners. In addition to project work, this Service Designer will support facilitators in B2C engagements and workshops.
• Develop innovative, user-centered service experiences for next generation of products and solutions.
• Will support a user centered design approach including analysis, exploration, storytelling, concept design, prototyping, evaluative testing and implementation.
• Responsible for translating user needs, research findings and business requirements into compelling, efficient and highly usable designs and support projects through execution.
• A successful Service Designer is comfortable designing and delivering complex service design engagements. You are also an expert in the ‘what and why’ of design thinking and can apply the corresponding methods and tools with a flexible mindset.
• The Service Designer must also have a strong commitment to continuous improvement of XD standards (e.g., experience guidelines) and XD tools (e.g., journey maps, blueprints, etc.).

 

Qualifications of the Right Candidate!

• Product or Project Lead experience in an enterprise software platform.
• A strong portfolio showing architecture, journey maps, thought process, case studies when possible. Convey the business reason and strategy behind design.
• True UX Architecture and Lead experience.
• Design strategy and design thinking experience.
• Research and analytics experience.
• Ability to think in complex systems.
