We’re looking for an Associate Service Designer who can:

  • Support teams to deliver design and research projects.
  • Understand and communicate decisions about appropriate Service Design tools and methods.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines such as user research, interaction design, development, delivery and product management within projects and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct research and stakeholder participation to support the design of services and experiences.
  • Deliver what is asked of you successfully. You take initiative when prompted and access support from other members of the team.

We’d like to hear from you if you have some experience working professionally in the design industry or a related field and have these skills or experiences

  • User Centred – You can use multiple forms of research to design user-centred services and experiences. You understand how business and contextual constraints inform the viability and feasibility of services and experience.
  • Communication – Adjusts communications to reflect the needs of your audience (stakeholders, clients, individuals, team members) in order to build good working relationships.
  • Ideation – Builds constructively on ideas contributed by others on client and internal teams.
  • Work Openly – Use collaboration tools and platforms so your work is visible to others. You embrace your mistakes and learn from them.
  • Facilitate decisions and risks – Make decisions to progress your work and ask others for input recognising the benefit of more than one perspective. Understand the risks associated with decisions, inform others of these risks.
  • Agile – Know and understand agile methodology and the ways you can apply the principles in practice and take an open-minded approach.
  • Ways of working – Have an understanding of inclusive, accessible and sustainable design and best practice.
  • Delivery – Manage their own workload to ensure on time delivery of assignments and/or who communicates early and often about changes impacting deadlines.
