Service Designer

The role is completely new, which means that you have a great opportunity to influence and develop your work. The business’ goal is to start developing demand-driven services with the user in focus. Lerum municipality’s residents and entrepreneurs place higher demands on the availability of services to perform when they themselves wish. Needs have previously been driven from a business perspective. You will turn the perspective and offer the right conditions for the users of the services.

As a service designer, you will run projects in collaboration with the business from identification, through design to commissioning and power generation according to service design principles. You will participate in and lead various improvement work where services are developed together with both users and employees, municipal residents and entrepreneurs. You will also train and guide others in service design methodology.

An important part of the work will be to create meeting places where different people and areas of knowledge can meet to exchange experiences and generate ideas.

Qualifications

You have relevant higher education and several years of experience in service design, preferably in the public sector or knowledge and experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have a documented experience in change management where you have been involved in running change projects. If you have experience of working with a holistic perspective on concept work and CMS solutions, this is an advantage. Experience of working with requirements for development and testing within several different CMS is also an advantage. We would like you to have knowledge and experience of visualizing your work in various creative ways such as film, images, physical prototypes and more.

You have the ability to conduct independent work but like to work in teams. You have a very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing, both in Swedish and in English. Your communicative ability as well as your ability to work together is very good and you are skilled at understanding and capturing different perspectives and needs. You are responsible, development-focused and efficient. You are also creative, dare to look for new ways and take your own initiatives.
