Co-designing with our clients and communities to design new service models and value propositions, defining how organisations can re-organise themselves to deliver.

We want you to have confidence and experience in the end-to-end journey of a project, from navigating sales through to end delivery in agile practice and language related to the design process.

At Jayway we value our teams and collaboration. We are looking for someone who contributes to healthy team motivation and morale, offering emotional and logistical support. But also to have a coaching role to other Service Designers.

Your typical work will contain: 

  • Collaborate with UX Designers, Visual Designers, Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding the business and users’ needs, motivations, behaviours and are able to translate them into actionable deliverables
  • Identifying how organisations can reduce cost of delivery and improve outcomes through re-design of user experience, business processes, and better collaboration
  • Setting future visions for products and services that inspire people and meet needs
  • Co-designing with our clients and communities to design new service models and value propositions, defining how organisations can re-organise themselves to deliver
  • Taking research into actionable insights and communicating this in a succinct and human-centred way to stakeholders
  • Analysing and directing on how organisations need to change to deliver more effective services
  • Contextualise the demand and help define the need, to put the clients needs and strategy into perspective, in order to ensure the coherence of the project
  • Coaching and supporting organisations

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience designing complex services
  • Strong background in service- and strategic design
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in informatics, service design, business design or a related design discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience within a relevant service design discipline
  • Deep expertise in design thinking/human-centered design
  • Documented experience, an excellent portfolio showcasing design solutions and strategic approaches (proven designs and experience of launched services that have been implemented in the real world)
  • Strong skills in conducting and synthesising research, insights and findings.
  • Approaching things systemically and are a natural at zooming out to see the big picture, then diving in to nail the important details

Requirements.

  • Valid Swedish work permit
    • Or able to obtain one with the offered terms of employment
  • Based in Halmstad.
    • Remote for now, following the recommendations from the authorities
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, oral and written

We would also love it if you have:

  • Great knowledge of user-centered design, UX, and interaction design principles
  • Have basic coding knowledge so they can work hand-in-hand with coders and understand how the design affects the developers work.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
  • Experience with transitions, animation, motion design and dynamic interaction

After this is a final interview with the studio/lead we feel is best suited to help you thrive at Jayway.
