Service Designer

Together with interdisciplinary teams from the entire city administration, you will develop solution strategies – for example in the context of design thinking workshops – and ensure the user focus in the city’s digitization projects.
They examine urban processes and services, especially from the perspective of users. You visualize the results as service blueprints.
You design and develop implementation recommendations for digital solutions in cooperation with various service departments of the city administration and contribute your experience at the interface between design and process development.
They make ideas for increasing quality or efficiency tangible in the form of prototypes.
They are in regular contact with users to understand their needs and to test the solutions that have been developed.

You have a university degree (psychology, social sciences, etc.), as well as further training in human-centered design, interaction design, service design or relevant professional experience.
Thanks to your strong communication skills, you are able to integrate the demands of different stakeholders.
You are familiar with agile working methods and can optimally contribute your skills in a self-organized context.
You are a team player and enthusiastic about the digital needs of the city population and processes of the city administration.
As an active listener, you quickly understand the key needs of users.
You have business fluent German language skills, both spoken and written.
You are creative and develop convincing solutions.
