Senior Service Designer

As a senior designer you lead projects with complex content around multi-stakeholder issues. You work from a designer mindset at the intersection of social issues, divergent interests, behavioral and organizational change. You develop services in all kinds of domains and sectors with a team of researchers and designers. You design positive impact for client and end user!

You monitor the planning, results, quality and execution of projects for customers. To achieve optimal results, you use the full breadth of the service and social design methodology.

You are able to effectively and independently lead and implement (medium) large projects, collaborate with a team and partners, build customer relationships and initiate follow-up projects.

You can handle cultural, social and political challenges of the organizations we work for, you are not held back by organizational obstacles and you seek collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Good cooperation is at least as important as a strong end result. We are experienced in the service design domain and convince customers by constantly coming up with innovative solutions. Will you join our team?

ARE WE LOOKING FOR YOU? 

You, as a senior service/social designer:

• Have at least 7 years of experience in service/social design and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams;
• Demonstrable track record of service/social design projects resulting in improved customer experience and social innovation;
• Can represent Muzus to clients and are driven to build good and long-term customer relationships
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with service and social design methodologies, such as context mapping, research through design, personas, customer journey mapping, service blueprints, prototyping, user testing.
• Co-creates at all levels in the design process
• Executes lead activities within projects, such as workshops with customers, their customers and stakeholders, setting up frameworks of insights from research, idea and concept development, vision formation and presentations.
• Supports design decisions, convinces clients, presents results both verbally and visually.
• Monitors deliverables in the project and their quality
• Are independent and flexible in dealing with and adapting to changing requirements
• Works well together, able to work in a multidisciplinary way and independently
• Have excellent oral, written and visual communication skills

• Experience on consortium projects and large projects, where there are steering groups and supervisory committees, is a plus
