Senior Service Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Service Designer to join our team, contributing to projects like new venture development and other innovative initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for qualitative research, designing user experiences and product/service conceptualization, ensuring the success of our projects through thoughtful and effective design.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points
• Develop and improve service design processes, ensuring they are user-centered and effective
• Lead ideation sessions and create prototypes to visualize and test concepts
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine and enhance service designs
• Create customer journey maps, service blueprints, and other design artifacts
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including business designers, developers, and other stakeholders
• Present design concepts and findings to clients and internal teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Service Design, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in service design
• Proficiency in user research methodologies and tools
• Experience with prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc.)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on innovation projects
• Familiarity with Lean Startup and Design Thinking methodologies
