About the role
These are exciting times for Crawley Borough Council as we continue our transformation journey, with digital at the heart of it. We are committed to growing and improving our online services and achieving channel shift; building on our successful customer and staff portals with plans to move more services online. We need a confident, capable and enthusiastic person to help us deliver an ambitious programme of work.
Working primarily with the low-code Granicus govService platform (formerly Firmstep), your responsibilities will include:

You will be part of a small specialist team working to design and deliver digital services that meet our customer needs and help us deliver efficiencies across the organisation.

You will enjoy working with colleagues to help them improve their services and have the confidence to manage and deliver projects. The ability to understand and translate complex business processes into user-friendly digital services is critical for success in this role.
Working knowledge of local government and previous experience with the govService platform, or a similar forms and workflow development application will be a distinct advantage.
