Senior Service Designer

Our Service Design team builds, develops and supports services that match up to our user’s needs. You’ll be an advocate for user-focused design who is excited to bring new ideas to the organisation. Collaborating with colleagues across the Openness, Data and Digital directorate, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of projects that seek to keep our services as useful and accessible as possible.

Helping to shape the FSA’s approach to designing services, you’ll be interested in more than the products themselves, leading conversations with stakeholders that champion our user-led approach. You’ll join the team in helping to shape the way we design our services, making sure they are accessible for all.

Ours is an end-to-end service that works from the inception of a project to its realisation and beyond, maintaining our services to ensure they remain functional and useful. You’ll have a keen eye for identifying opportunities to develop these services, as well as a talent for developing reusable service patterns and standards that will improve our consistency and capabilities as a team.

You’ll be a confident and convincing influencer who can sell the value of our work, and of a user-led approach to stakeholders across the FSA. Raising awareness of what good services and good service design look like, you’ll be able to shape your work, and that of your colleagues around users’ needs so that we can better serve the public.
