Job description
In this role, you will:
- Gain practical experience in agile working methodologies.
- Develop your communication skills by translating technical jargon into plain English.
- Enhance your collaboration skills, learn about team dynamics and feedback, and navigate technical discussions with peers and stakeholders.
- Expand your knowledge of design, technology, and data principles, and explore current design trends.
- Learn to champion evidence-based design and understand the iterative design process.
- Develop your prototyping skills.
- Master user research techniques, including identifying needs and engaging with users and stakeholders

Person specification
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong analytical skills and great attention to detail.
- Can manage relationships with stakeholders
- Able to work successfully as part of a team
- Can communicate clearly to difference audiences
- Understands the importance of being user-focused and understanding user needs when designing services.
Essential Criteria
- Undergraduate student with a mandatory or optional 9-12 month industrial placement course requirement
- You must be in the penultimate year of your degree course
- Studying towards a degree in one of the following – IT, Design-related, Computer Science, or Business-related degree
