- To contribute Panasonic’s B2B business for global, service design function in Design Centre Europe is expected to establish open innovation development scheme aligning with Panasonic teams and external clients in Europe, as well as CNS (Connected Solutions Company) Design Centre in Japan.
Generate service design practices within B2B business activities
Working as a part of Connected Solutions Company, Design Centre Europe (DCEU) is a dedicated design development and research facility – predominantly working for B2B industries, such as Retail, Logistics, and Manufacturing. Our aim is to generate creative perspectives within B2B business practice to contribute towards customers’ businesses, whilst engaging in diversified collaborations across internal organisations and external clients.
- As a Service Designer at Design Centre Europe, you will be working on multiple projects with a focus on designing front-end to back-end service journeys
- Project leading skills: To establish and provide an innovation development scheme in Design Centre Europe, plan, develop, and deliver service design practices as being advised/supervised from the superior, when engaging in diversified collaborations across various stakeholders, including project members, design agencies, and clients.
- Communication skills: Communicate with relevant internal/external project stakeholders to collect key information within a project and regularly update it to project members and design centre in Japan to achieve the project outputs above expectations.
- Facilitation skills: Prepare and set up workshops with various internal/external stakeholders and facilitate them to collect effective opinions and activate the projects
- Research skills: Using own initiative, support Senior Designers to conduct and analyse research to build hypotheses for our business solutions based on customer needs/requirements.
- Ideation skills: Using own initative and partially being advised/supervised from the superior, develop and present ideas for business solutions from service design perspective.
- Presentation skills: Finalise presentation materials as being advised/supervised from the superior, and conduct a key presentation and aim to exceed stakeholder’s expectations.
Required
- Demonstrate open communication and relationship building skills with various stakeholders including project members, design agencies, and clients is essential
- Knowledge and experience in service design to maximise business result is essential
- Experience conducting and analysing design research is essential
- Strong organisational with project members and time management skills are essential
- Strong attention to detail of the design is essential
- Business level proficiency in English – speaking and writing is essential
- IT skills: Ability to use MS Office / Adobe (Illustrator and Photoshop skill are required) is essential.
Desired
- Ability to create and maintain network of creators and experts from various fields in Europe is an advantage
- Understanding of product / UI design process is an advantage
- – Knowledge and experience service design practices in retail, logistics, and manufacturing, public service, entertainment, and mobility is an advantage
