The Role

We are looking for a ‘hybrid’ Service Designer who can lead our new digital health product innovation process, and welcome applicants who are able to bring a variety of skills in  product, research or UX and developed service design skills in the process.

Key Responsibilities

As our sole Service Designer (Lead) you will:

  • Lead the innovation of a brand new digital health product

  • Build and execute a realistic project plan with clear risk identification and mitigation

  • Design the core framework for the new product

  • Develop, test and iterate prototypes to feed into the design cycle

  • Be able to source human resources where and when needed (content, art, code, testing etc.)

  • Work closely with our product team throughout

  • Translate and join up user and organisational needs into the end-to-end design and delivery of our products and connected services

  • Build a community of key stakeholders relevant to the success of the new product

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

Essential:

  • Be able to bring together strategic, practical, creative and project management skills

  • End to end experience of digital product innovation including design, development and launch – success data will be expected to be shared

  • Solid understanding and experience in service design so you know when and where to break the rules

  • Experience in the health sector (children’s mental health will be a bonus)

  • Frugal innovation skills

  • Ability to prototype, test, iterate

  • Passion for mobile gaming and an understanding of current industry trends

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

  • A real interest in supporting the mental health of young people

  • Proficient in all necessary softwares for wireframing, prototyping, user testing, project management etc.

  • Ensure all efforts are closely aligned with business goals

  • Salary: dependent on experience

  • Location: Workspace in Farringdon (Central London)
