Senior Service Designer

This role is for a new area in the business, and so there’s a huge amount of opportunity for the right person to build and shape new tools to help ClearScore’s users make more of their money.

You must be highly experienced in using UX & Design Thinking processes to create user-centred data-informed solutions. You will be responsible for all aspects of the design process, including workshops, ideation, research, user testing and providing direction on the UX/UI elements, but at least initially, your work will be heavily focused on the discovery end of the spectrum. You will be embedded in a multi-disciplinary squad to create truly engaging experiences for our users.

In Your First 6 Months, You Will

• Research and frame a problem space from an area we have identified as a possible business opportunity
• Gather evidence and data to inform decisions about the opportunity, alongside your product manager, and other team members and stakeholders
• Understand user needs and create user journeys
• Understand the existing services, data and infrastructure that’ll support those journeys to be able to create efficient interaction flows
• Lead solution discovery at the appropriate time, to ensure that it fits within a complex interconnected system with high visibility, including research, design explorations, and technical requirements.
  • Use our data to shape your solutions, but make occasional judgment calls when necessary.
  • Lead ideation workshops with developers and stakeholders.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows and more to communicate your ideas
  • Use your experience of desktop, mobile web and mobile app design to guide the UX/UI design, aligning with the design vision and contributing to our design system.
  • Play a key role in your multi-disciplinary squad, working with other designers, engineers and product managers to make sure you’re working together and focused on your goals.
  • Contribute to the design team by mentoring designers, providing feedback in critiques and sharing your skills.
