Service Designer

We are looking for a brilliant user-centred product owner – someone who is keen to bring no-code approaches to service design.

SIDE Labs is a small team with a big mission: we use design and technology to alleviate suffering, guide the vulnerable and reduce inequalities.

We are looking for a passionate individual to further propel and accelerate this mission. You’ll be joining a small team working to help Citizens Advice Scotland deliver the most local and best possible user experience for people engaging with their service.

Requirements

Product ownership

• Strategy: Deciding what prototypes to build, on what platform
• Figuring out the riskiest assumptions and how to test them
• Managing competing needs of stakeholders
• Bringing clarity to fuzzy complexity of reality
• Task capture – managing the backlog
• Ensuring that user needs are kept front and centre – even when we have to squeeze within organisational constraints

No-Code development

• Learning through making
• Evaluating no-code tools
• Creating prototypes to explore no-code solutions
• Deploying systems in a production environment
• Creating excellent documentation and training material
