We are looking for an experienced Service Designer to work within our Government client on a 3-6 month contract, either on an interim or FTC basis. This contract falls OUTSIDE of IR35.

Key responsibilities

• Take an overall perspective on business issues, events, activities and discuss their wider implications and long-term impact. This could include determining patterns, standards, policies, roadmaps and vision statements with focus on outcomes rather than solutions.
• Apply technical knowledge and experience to create or design workable prototypes, both programs and physical outputs (using tools such as Adobe XD or similar).
• Provide Business Analysis/architecture support to the development of the programme portfolio. Capture, analyse organisational design, business processes and data sources.
• Create visual diagrams/maps/blueprints to inform as-is and to-be processes, systems, connections, data flows and APIs.
• Visualise, articulate and solve complex problems and concepts, and make disciplined decisions based on available information and research evidence.
• Understand technical complexity and risks, run collaborative design activities, influence others and build consensus.
• Make informed decisions based on user needs, available technology and value for money.
• Understand security, accessibility and information governance constraints.
• Act as the liaison between business operations and project delivery (Design and IT).
• Experience in working in agile environment with iterative approach to deliverables.

Due to the nature of our client, the successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate level of Security Clearance, which for this role is SC level.
