Senior Service Designer

We are looking for a Senior Service Designer with experience working with Product teams in an Agile environment. Working within the Fulfilment squad and collaborating with other Product teams and business stakeholders, you’ll be responsible for improving all aspects of Moonpig’s post-purchase experience. Reporting to the Head of Product Design, you’ll have autonomy over strategy and execution. This position will join an established team of around 15 Product Designers and User Researchers, where you will have the full support and access to research and data resources.

What you’ll be doing:

• • • Understand the end user experience post-purchase, and find opportunities to improve it
    • Work with all post-purchase related stakeholders, understand their domains, and influence their initiatives
    • Find opportunities to improve internal tools and processes
    • Bring new tools and frameworks, as well as Systems Thinking, to embed Service Design Thinking within the organisation
    • Work collaboratively with other Designers, Product Managers, Researchers, Engineers, Data Analysts and Stakeholders

You’ll be a good addition to the Design team if you:

• • Love both the craft and the strategy
  • Have delivered complex work for new and existing multi-touchpoint/multi-channel products and services
  • Have a really good understanding of technology and are able to connect the dots between physical and digital touchpoints
  • 6+ years of experience working with Product teams (at least 2 of these as a Service Designer)
  • Are always learning as well as being willing to teach

Skills:

• • Service Blueprinting and Journey Mapping
  • Concept ideation and development
  • Hands on experience with UX/HCD Research and Synthesis
  • Ability to leverage quant & qual data and formulate a compelling business case for design initiatives
  • Ability to create high fidelity mockups (we use Figma) and prototype touchpoints
  • Persuasive and concise communicator with the ability to explain and defend design decisions in front of senior stakeholders
  • Workshop Facilitation
