Senior User Researcher

We are looking for a Senior User Researcher that has experience leading and delivering large, complex projects.

We are looking for an experienced User Researcher that can establish, lead and deliver user research on large, complex projects. Are you passionate about leading research teams, adept at uncovering human-centred insights, and skilful at translating these insights into meaningful opportunities for design and innovation? We are looking for someone who can inspire fellow researchers and designers, and lead with both empathy and conviction across our portfolio of projects.

Core skills:

• Passion for leading teams and teaching others about research.
• Mastery of qualitative research methods, including research scope and design.
• Proven ability to use human-centred insight to answer business questions.
• Analysis and synthesis of findings from user research to produce robust, evidence-based insights.
• Ensuring inclusion and accessibility throughout the research process.
• Facilitation of research interviews, focus groups and workshops.
• Strong presentation skills with a creative and compelling storytelling style.

Your Attributes:

• 5+ years of qualitative research experience
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams with user researchers, business designers, subject matter experts, developers, and user interaction designers to build products and services
• You thrive on big, complex challenges
• You want to work on projects that can have a tangible benefit to a broad group of people
• Extensive experience designing and delivering research that informs the development of products and services

The Details & Offer:

• Location: Scotland, ideally Glasgow or Edinburgh
• Contract: 6 month contract, negotiable and potentially flexible — potential to extend
